Data Retention Tool (DART)

The Data Retention Tool (DART) is part of your SAP general ledger module. Although tax audit requirements vary from country to country and by audit type, the quantity of data you have typically exceeds what is required by most governmental tax audits. DART was originally designed to extract the information needed by the US IRS Rev. Proc. 98-25 and later, German tax legislation. Today it can be used for a plethora of applications. DART must be enabled prior to implementing a data archiving strategy.
