DOLPHIN’S ACCOUNTS PAYABLE PROCESS TRACKING SYSTEM
ACHIEVES “POWERED BY SAP NETWEAVER^®” STATUS
Dolphin’s solutions for Accounts Payable integrated with SAP^® solutions deliver improved productivity and lower cost per invoice

ORLANDO, Fla. (May 5, 2008) – Dolphin Corporation has announced that its Process Tracking System for Accounts Payable (PTS-AP) version 4.0 has achieved “Powered by SAP NetWeaver^®” status as an SAP^® ABAP™ Add-on for Release 6.40. Today’s announcement was made at the SAPPHIRE^® 2008 Orlando conference.

The Dolphin PTS-AP deployment is tested and certified by the SAP Integration and Certification Center. The certified functions are PTS AP standard Workflow using the SAP Business Workflow tool, posting invoices and/or credit memo via PTS AP Workflow, and running PTS AP Reports. These functions help to optimize the accounts payable process. In addition to achieving Powered by SAP NetWeaver status, PTS-AP has achieved “SAP Solution Manager Ready” status.

How it works
The goal of PTS is to help customers further leverage their existing investments in SAP solutions without introducing any new, redundant or competing components. To optimize the accounts payable process, Dolphin’s unique Process Tracking System provides a central dashboard to view and access all accounts payable invoice data in the system. This dashboard view provides real-time information on where the invoices are in the routing process and fast access to the full invoice history, approval status, and original document images.

All steps in the invoice process are recorded and continuously updated, creating a detailed audit trail for each transaction. The process tracking system enables exception handling such as master data maintenance, rescanning, and rerouting of documents. Other features include duplicate checks, ERS warnings, payment term utilization, enhanced approval, intranet-based approval, and real-time invoice tracking.

Dolphin’s solution uses SAP technologies such as the SAP ArchiveLink^® software and SAP NetWeaver Application Server (SAP NetWeaver AS) as well as best-practice workflow templates, reports, and SAP ERP 2004 applications to optimize the invoice process; PTS also integrates with the SAP content server.
